DA-RC Christmas Contest 2025 Regulations

The contest is open to everyone without group distinction, and will start on December 10, 2025 at 00:00 UTC and will end on December 31, 2025 at 23:59 UTC.

Band and modes: the activity must take place within the 11 meter band from 400 to 495 and from 600 to 900 all connections made outside these frequencies will not be considered valid. the emission mode will only be in voice.

There are 3 categories in the contest:

• ACTIVATOR

• HUNTER

• JOKER

ACTIVATOR:

This category includes all DA-RC operators who, having made a request to gae1da005@gmail.com, have obtained a special callsign, e.g. 1DA/XC (Xmas Contest), the aim is to connect the greatest number of Hunters.

Each Activator can also participate in the Hunters category using their own DA-RC call and can connect Joker stations only and exclusively as a Hunter with their own DA-RC call sign e.g. 1DA005.

An Activator cannot connect another Activator using the Christmas Contest call sign but can only do so as a Hunter using their own DA-RC call.

It is possible to log a Hunter only once even if it is multicall for the entire duration of the contest.

HUNTERS:

 This category includes all operators of any group who must connect the greatest number of Activators and Joker stations.

It is possible to connect an Activator only once for the entire duration of the contest.

JOKER:

This category includes all members of the DA-RC HQ and will have XXXDA/JOKER as their call sign, they can also participate as hunters using their own DA-RC call sign.

Scores:

1 point for each ACTIVATOR, HUNTER

5 points for each JOKER station

Awards:

 the first 3 classified in the Activator categories and the first three classified in the Hunters category will be awarded with a Christmas-style plaque.

N.B. (be careful not to set autospots on clusters).

Autospots on clusters by Activators and especially by Joker stations are prohibited.

Activators at their discretion can send their eQSL and or QSL Cards on request to Hunters.

Those who do not send their log will no longer be accepted for the next editions of the contest and the contacts will not be considered valid because they are not verifiable.

QSL Card:

 A double QSL card will be available to request via Paypal at: gae1da005@gmail.com with a cost of 3 euros for Europe and 4 euros for the rest of the world, just write the Call and the name of the operator.
